Patty has been assisting employees relocating to “America’s Finest City” for 7 years.

She particularly enjoys the mild sunny weather and the open-minded, easy-going lifestyle of the people who live in San Diego. She notes that “people love that the dress code for restaurants in the whole area (with very few exceptions) is very relaxed.” Patty loves to dine at the many beach restaurants and walk on the sand afterwards. She often visits her favorite local aquarium overlooking the ocean.

What Patty likes most about working with IPR is the feeling that she makes a real difference in someone's life and, of course, showing off the best of the city she loves.

One of Patty’s most memorable moments as an IPR Area Consultant happened during a Sunday area tour with a young man from New Delhi. He mentioned how much he would miss playing cricket while in the U.S. as he assumed that cricket was unheard of in San Diego. He was stunned that Patty knew of cricket fields where teams formed by expats from all over the world were practicing at that very moment. Patty changed course, took him to the cricket field and asked the team leader if he needed a pitcher from Delhi. The young man was immediately swept away to the field. He was a smiling member of the team 20 minutes later!

Fun fact about Patty: she used to work as a diamond buyer in Antwerp, Belgium for a San Diego company.
